Our Approach

CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Examines the link between thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and gives you practical tools to notice and shift the patterns that keep difficulties going.

ACT

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Builds psychological flexibility, making room for difficult thoughts and feelings while taking committed action towards the things that matter to you.

MI

Motivational Interviewing

A collaborative, non-judgemental way of strengthening your own motivation for change, at your pace and on your terms.

TF-CBT

Trauma-focussed CBT

A first-line treatment for post-traumatic stress. With an emphasis on graded exposure, we approach difficult memories and avoided situations step by step, at a pace you set.

PSE

Pain Science Education

Understanding pain changes pain. Learning how your nervous system produces it reduces its threat, helping you better manage chronic pain and return to the things that matter.

Our philosophy

“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being.

Sessions look beyond symptoms alone. A holistic approach takes your physical, mental and social well-being seriously, together.

I strive to provide an evidence-based approach for all of my clients, and I’m passionate about teaching a holistic approach to mental health.

My work is client-centred. Rather than positioning therapy as something you’ll depend on indefinitely, I focus on building your confidence and independence, so you leave with skills you can use to manage your own well-being long after our sessions end.

I also provide trauma therapy, with an emphasis on graded exposure work, and I’m confident in the psychological management of chronic pain.

Away from work you’ll find me out with my two border collies, at the gym, gaming, or halfway through yet another project around the house.

How it Works

All appointments are currently offered via telehealth.

  1. 01

    See your GP

To claim Medicare rebates, ask your GP for a referral letter and a Mental Health Care Plan. You can also book privately without one.

  2. 02

    Book & upload your documents

Choose a time online, then upload your referral letter, Mental Health Care Plan and Medicare details before your initial appointment.

  3. 03

    Meet from wherever suits you

Your session runs over telehealth: no travel, no waiting room. All you need is a quiet space and an internet connection.

With a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can claim a Medicare rebate on your sessions, in your own time.

  • Log in to your myGov account linked to Medicare, or open the Express Plus Medicare app.
  • Have your referral letter and paid invoice handy, as the claim uses details from both.
  • Submit the claim and the rebate is paid to your nominated bank account.

Not sure whether you’re eligible? Your GP can talk you through setting up a Mental Health Care Plan at a standard consultation.

Beyond the session

Behind every session lies a simple aim: the confidence and independence to manage your own well-being.
